Zotos International Earns ISO 9001 certification

October 2002 (Darien, CT)...In a continuing effort to provide customer satisfaction through quality production and services and continuous improvement, Zotos International is proud to announce that it has earned the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001 certification.

The goal and objective of being ISO 9001 certified is to have a Quality Management System in place to implement processes and procedures required to provide quality products and services to our customers, meeting or exceeding their needs and expectations while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements.

Certification is achieved by choosing a registrar. The registrar assigns an assessor to audit our facilities to verify that our Quality Management System satisfies all requirements of the standard. If successful, the registrar recommends the company for certification.

A steering committee of members of Darien, CT, Rosemont, IL, and Geneva, NY facilities was formed to implement the ISO 9001 certification process. Zotos International chose Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance and has now been certified in these facilities.
